NOW!! it gets badder..Super Junior member Kangin seems to be involved in a pending assault case. An officer in charge of the case revealed, "At around 3 this morning, Kangin together with his friend got into an argument with two others at a pub. It then escalated into a brawl which led to assault charges being filed."

2,000 Mobilize at JYPE Building in a Silent Protest

2,000 Mobilize at JYPE Building in a Silent Protest

On September 13th, Korean Hottests surrounded the JYP Entertainment building at Seoul GangNamGoo CheongDamDong under the occasion of a silent protest against 2PM Jaebeom's recent withdrawal from the 7-member group. 2,000 members from 64 of 2PM's websites rallied together for a total of 2 hours, waiting outside from 2PM (very clever) to 4PM with over 100 police officers present on stand-by.

Due to the large turn-out of fans causing a blockage in traffic, the initial time, which was set for four hours from 2PM until 6PM, was cut short. One of the fans’ representatives said, “We will have the fans go home and clean up the streets by 6PM.”

In particular, what caught people's attention the most was a poster that read "4 Years, 4 Days", which translates into:

Four years, the time it took to change him from Jay Park to Park JAEBEOM
Four days, the time it took to destroy his dream.
It was a simple, yet powerful message that the fans based their silent protest on.

They also made a clear statement that they would not "support a 2PM that has less than 7 members" and were spotted bearing fansigns that demanded the return of the fallen member.

"Jaebeom, come back"
"Jaebeom, are you watching?"
"PM 01:59", "7=1"
"We miss Jaebeom"
"I am looking for 2PM's leader Jaebeom"
"Give us our Jaebeom back"

One representative claimed:

Through this whole process, the company did not do anything to the team which they have trained. All the responsibilities were carried by Jaebeom. While the fans are hoping for official explanation and active solutions to the situation, JYP has looked away and fans are now angry at JYP. We are angry at what JYP showed us in this past week, and we are officially demanding JYP to return Jaebeom to 2PM.

This was the first collective action that was taken since Hottests from all over the world made their declaration of boycotting 2PM and all music released under JYP's name. There was a total of approximately 1,000 CDs that were piled outside the JYPE building that day.

The K-Hottests' protest demonstrated that silence is, in fact, golden, as they delivered a strong message to JYP Entertainment without any violence, words, or riots.

Jaebeom’s Final (?) Performance with 2PM

2PM's Final Performance with Jaebeom

Many have been anticipating the official footage release of the Incheon Korean Wave Festival 2009 , which took place last Saturday on the 5th. MBC has finally aired the footage today in place of Music Core.

Sadly, who knew that 2PM's performance of their 2009 hit songs, Again & Again and I Hate You that day would be their last performance all together... as seven, as one. Ok, Nichkhun wasn't around on that night because he had a CF to film in Thailand. But as things stand, Jaebeom is not with 2PM now, but who knows what will happen in future, we can only hope.

This performance will definitely be memorable for all those who have walked with the magnificent seven through their hardships and struggles since the Hot Blood days.

Reminiscing the good old heptagonal days.

Super Junior-M confirms return this September

Super Junior-M confirms return this September

Super Junior-M will make a return at the end of September with their brand-new Chinese mini-album and restart their activities in China. To create hype ahead of their comeback, SM Entertainment has partnered with Chinese portal site, Sohu.com, and will be releasing their teaser clips, etc on their respective websites starting on the 11th.

Super Junior-M comprising of Super Junior members Han Kyung (the leader), Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook, Kyuhyun, and two non-Super Junior members, Henry and Zhou Mi, have won a lot of awards and are super popular in China after they released their first album, Me in April 2008.

The return of Super Junior-M is being looked upon favourably by many especially as the main group, Super Junior had made waves in the earlier part of 2009 with their Sorry, Sorry hit song in Korea and the world.

Super Junior-M expressed, "We are very happy to be bringing our new album to everyone and we have made a lot of preparations for it. We hope that everyone can continue to show their support for Super Junior-M's music and activities and continue to support and love us.

Super Junior-M's new mini-album will be released in China and other Asian countries at the same time by end-September.

2PM’s Jaebeom calls it quits!

2PM Jaebeom

On the official 2PM fancafe, leader Jaebeom announced that he will be officially quitting 2PM. JYPE has just confirmed this is true.

This decision was made after his recent Myspace controversy was blown out of hand. Jaebeom will be leaving Korea today at 6:30pm KST.

Jaebeom posted:

"Hello, I'm 2PM's Jaebeom.

I'm sorry for giving you my last greeting through this letter.
I think it will be hard for me to see you all on stage because of my sorry heart.

I'm really sorry to everyone, and I'm even more sorry to the fans who have shown me love.
From today, I will leave 2PM.

2PM boys, I'm really sorry to the boys and I'm sorry I couldn't be strong as a leader and a hyung and have to leave like this.
However, I hope you will be more cool and charming.

Again, I'm sorry.

Jaebeom"

What will happen to 2PM now?

So what's to come of 2PM?

JYP Entertainment stated:

"It seems there will be issues with 2PM's future activities. For now, Jaebeom has stated that he wants to return to American as soon as possible. Because of Jaebeom's controversy, we have not made any decisions on 2PM's future activities."

2PM was supposed to make a comeback in October with their 2nd album, however due to Jaebeom's leave, nothing is certain as of yet. JYPE is still unsure of whether 2PM should be a 6-member group, or if they should recruit a new member. Consequently, JYPE also needs to choose a new leader for 2PM.
